If the week’s best beauty looks could talk, they’d urge you to unearth your hot rollers, swipe on a pretty lip stain, and join the festivities. Holiday polish abounded, with smooth blowouts (Zendaya) offering a swingy alternative to textured topknots (January Jones) and loose curls (Jessica Alba). Makeup, too, was a study in earthy elegance: Camilla Belle took a soft wash of bronze eyeshadow to the red carpet, while Beyoncé showed off a rich stroke of emerald pigment. But perhaps the most exuberant after-dark asset came in the form of a plunging décolleté (hello, Kate Hudson!) that seemed poised to become this year’s answer to the bare winter legs phenomenon.
